Youth Floor Tumbling
If you're enrolling your child in a gymnastics class, you may be wondering what a tumble track is and if your child will be using one. Tumble tracks are often used in gymnastics classes for kids, as they provide a safe and controlled environment for floor tumbling.
Most tumble tracks are made from PVC or other synthetic materials, and they typically have a mat attached to the top. The mat provides a soft surface for tumbling, and the PVC material protects against impact. The dimensions of a typical tumble track are around 16 feet long and 3 feet wide.
Tumble tracks can be used for a variety of gymnastics activities, including forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and more. If your child is enrolled in a gymnastics class, they will likely use the tumble track at some point during their class. This is a great way for kids to learn and practice basic tumbling skills in a safe environment!
